Final Project: Script
A Conversation Goes a Long Way -For this project, I want to show how quarantining and not communicating can be difficult. In this short film, the character wants to paint a painting. She's excited to try these new paints, new brushes, and just to keep herself busy during these hard times. However, once it gets to painting something, she can't think of anything. She tries really hard to get ideas but, fails to succeed. Because she's so stressed out, she doesn't think to answer her phone calls when her daughter calls. Finally, she gives up and decides to grab a drink. Her daughter calls another time and she finally answers. She talks to her daughter a bit and talks about her difficulty creating something. Her daughter gives her ideas of what to think of. Automatically she gets an idea and gets straight to painting.
